Long before I understood the term “event design,” I understood the magic of a beautifully set table, a perfectly timed surprise, and the feeling of walking into a room that takes your breath away. What began as childhood birthday parties evolved into a deep appreciation for intentional design, refined details, and moments that feel both effortless and unforgettable.
Today, La Pura Event Co. exists to create celebrations that are immersive, personal, and elevated — events that don’t just look beautiful, but feel meaningful.
My philosophy is simple: every milestone deserves to be experienced fully, without stress, without overwhelm — just presence, beauty, and joy.

Fun fact
The name "La Pura" comes from the Italian phrase 'the pure' meaning to satisfy; to do enough for; to meet the needs of; to fulfill the wishes and desires of. And biblically, my name Katlyn means 'pure' thus the name La Pura Event Co.
La Pura Process

In this starting phase, I build the foundation for your event and our relationship. Similar to a job interview, I learn about your preferences, personality, and aesthetic to ensure your comfort as we work together to create a remarkable experience.
02. CREATE
Drawing on my aesthetic expertise and your vision, I use Pinterest to shape event concepts. After review and feedback, the finalized plan kicks off the creative process!
03. fINALIZE DETAiLS
Each package is unique, yet the core details remain constant. In our final meeting, we solidify all event details, addressing any last-minute changes or concerns to ensure everyone is well-prepared for the event day.
